F*cking Asshole
I’m sure everyone is well aware of the tragic shooting that took place in Aurora, Colorado at a screening for “The Dark Knights Rises”. At this time 7/20/2012, 12 innocent people a confirmed dead and many reports are saying more than 50 people injured.
The shooter is the twisted individual in the picture above, James Holmes, age 24, a student at the University of Colorado Denver’s Graduate program in Neurosciences.
The following is an excerpt from http://www.abcnews.com:
“Holmes killed at least 12 people and injured as many as 50, including U.S. military members, during the midnight premiere of the movie at the Century 16 Movie Theaters in Aurora. He barged into the theater mid-show, setting off smoke bombs and stalking up and down the aisles firing as many as four weapons at viewers.
He was captured by police in the parking lot while still wearing a bullet-proof vest, riot helmet and gas mask and, according to police.
Federal law enforcement sources tell ABC News that Holmes bought a ticket to the movie, slipped out of the theater once it began and propped open the emergency exit before gathering his weapons and gear and coming back into the theater. Once inside, he opened fire.”
We have yet to learn what sick and twisted thoughts led this sicko to commit this crime. His bio sounds like something you read in a comic book, young kid pursuing a PhD… genius snaps. Was it a coincidence that he picked The Dark Knight Rises, this theater or was he trying to live out some warped and sick fan boy fantasy. Witnesses said he was dressed in like Bane from the new movie.
Whatever Holmes reasons were if he even had any would never justify committing such a horrible act. He’s nodifferent than the asshole terrorists who blow up themselves killing innocent people. We don’t know his reason but who really gives a shit what it is? Our justice system is flawed for individuals like him because he deserves nothing less than torture or a proper beheading.
Looking at this from a law enforcement perspective though is he didn’t even kill himself like most shooters do in this situation. Most shooters like him not only have a strong hatred for themselves but for others as well, so they shoot anyone they can and kill themselves.
I wouldn’t be surprised if he formed some sick and twisted comic book reality that forced him into becoming the twisted characters his read about it. Why he didn’t take his own life. It’s a fucked up game to him, I don’t think he was sending a message, and it wasn’t motive by political and religious means, it was something else entirely. Maybe I’m wrong but a true madman with debilitating psychological problems doesn’t plan a shooting to the extent that he did, and they don’t booby trap their apartment. They go out into a public place and start shooting. A truly demented and evil person shoots innocent people…children, women, and men, just for the sake of shooting them.
My prayers go out to the victims, injured, and family members of everyone involved. No one deserves to go through what happened here and I hope a special place in Hell is reserved for John Holmes…if not Hell anytime soon than at least prison with a very well-endowed inmate that’s looking for a new boy toy.
